Branding & Own Brand Packaging Design
Proposition: ‘All you need to take complete care of you’.
The Brief: Create an overarching brand. This needs to be established so that it can work effectively across a suite of packaging and in-store supporting comms.
The Problem: Yarche! is an established and trusted name in convenience shopping, operating a network of stores across Siberia and Moscow. They wanted to launch a new, extensive range of own-brand toiletries, which would convey the same quality cues as their big brand rivals. Their hurdle was, so matter which country customers are in, they always view own-brand products in terms of value.
The Result: I created a distinctive look for the new range, crafting a unique brand marque and set of ownable assets. For the typography I carefully selected a contemporary Cyrillic Russian font to complement the suite. Designs were applied across the full NiceTime range including: makeup removal, cleansing, moisturising, shower and body, hair care and accessories.
The Creative: The NiceTime brand is split into the following subcategories; For Hair, For Body, For Face and For Men. Each has their own unique category colour palette and pattern. Photography is used to help visualise the flavour of each product. However, the subcategory colour and corresponding pattern is used for products that aren’t ingredient or flavour led.
